Jewel of the Garden

last night I submitted [link] in attempts to share this Chrysalis found in the backyard. i hope to check it every day and i hope i catch the emerging Butterfly who has to let wings dry and then fly

yesterday the yard crew showed up and blew it away.

so today we went in search of another in the yard -and found this guy! so the project will continue

anyway - stay tuned and take a second to realize how gorgeous this casing is - like a piece of jewelry - metallic silk shining in the sun - as beautiful as the caterpillar and/or butterfly if you ask me

mother nature is the greatest artist of us all
