all dressed up and no where to go...the holidays can be lonely for some
  mary *********** just some tongue in cheek conceptual photography involving a stylized play on a sad theme - I can't make myself get truly dark over it because i find that too depressing and i myself dig the holidays (hence stylizing it to be a bit fashiony and silly in ways - dramatic in a tongue in cheek way hopefully) - but i have many around me that have to med up just to get through it so i'm trying to shake the feelings others project around me |

i have to admit they exhaust me and make
me tense for no reason.
part of this is being in the restaurant industry
and the other bit is disliking the sense that i MUST
buy things - i am obligated to spend money
once a year to prove i love the people around me.
the green makeup around your eyes
looks the perfect shape of holly leaves
and the red lipstick, the smear of berries.
that pale green backdrop is soothing in
that institution mint-green sorta way
I do like the concept of the image

a little cynism and "different thinking" really helps getting through this crazy period of the year.
about the picture, everything's great, the only thing i don't like is that it looks like you used a little too much neatimage, the overall looks is nicely smooth, but if you look closer you see that the details are a little smudged. like your hair or the leaves.
oh, almost forgot, the makeup is really gorgeous!!!
